This year, World Relief will serve hundreds of refugees and secondary migrants. These families have fled persecution in their home country and are beginning new lives here in the US. We invite you to join us in welcoming them to their new homes by donating household items and welcome kits. 

Gently Used Household Items & Furniture

Do you have furniture or household items in your possession that you would like to donate? We accept donated items and can arrange pickup within a pre-determined service area. Contact our office at to arrange pick-up or delivery. 

Welcome Kit Collection

Rally your church or small group to collect items and create a Welcome Kit. Collect new or gently used items from your group, place them in plastic tubs, and contact the World Relief office for delivery or pick-up. There are several different types of Welcome Kits needed. Build A Welcome Kit 

Choose one of the various kits you wish to purchase from Amazon and the items will be shipped directly to a new refugee family via our office. 

Step 1: Click on the kit or kits you’d like to purchase. 

Step 2: Add each item in the wish list to your cart. 

Step 3: Click out as usual and when it prompts you for a shipping address Chose World Relief Upstate SC (formerly Spartanburg) Gift Registry Address to have items shipped to our office at 2510 Wade Hampton Blvd., Suite C4, Greenville, SC 29615. 

Appliances Kits

Help a family in transition to their new home by equipping them with essential appliances like a microwave and vacuum.

Household kits

Provide items such as light bulbs, an alarm clock and more as they settle into life in the US.

Bedroom Kits

Give a refugee family new beds to have a place to sleep and rest.

Bedding kits

Help a refugee family sleep well by providing pillows, sheets and blankets.

Cleaning kits

Provide a kit stocked with essentials like trash bags and dish soap so that refugees can keep their new homes clean.

Cooking kits

Help refugees with cooking supplies to prepare healthy meals as they settle into life in the US.

Bathroom kits

Provide a fully stocked bathroom, complete with shampoo, toothbrushes, band-aids, shower curtains and deodorant.
